Overcoats for various uses

Of course, as a tailor, we also make tailored overcoats. From bomber to ulster, from peacoat to covert coat. Together we determine the fabric, the silhouette and all the little details. With an overcoat, especially the length and length of the overcoat determines its use and convenience. A coat you want to wear over a jacket should naturally be roomier. If you cycle a lot you want the tie to be a little longer in the sleeve and windproof. We like to think with you. After all, we can make all your stylish smart casual and business wear.

From cashmere to a heavy tweed

We have so many fabrics to help choose from. For pants, think Cavalry twill for a covert coat, cashmere for a classic overcoat, moleskin or duffle for a peacoat or donegal for a balmacan. We have it all. Then we usually choose the model. By measuring you extensively and looking closely at the poses, we can make the pattern. Often we shoot another coat to determine the desired and appropriate over-width and lengths.

The Ulster

Very nice jacket with a patch pockets, extra wide lapels, a band in the back a back pleat for extra freedom of movement. Super warm jacket although of course in cotton it takes on a completely different character.

Peacoat or Balmacan

The Balmacan is already a bit sportier due to its raglan sleeve and slightly more excess width. Combines both mnet your casual and more formal outfits of course depending on the fabric. The Peacoat is really a leisure coat although we have already made it in several variations. Come by and we'll go through that creative process together.

THE CITY COAT

The traditional overcoat is often made single breasted with four buttons whether concealed or not. We also often choose a classic coat with flap pockets. Of course, you can also choose patch pockets and double row.

Natuurlijk maken we ook overshirts, traveljackets & workerjackets. We benoemen deze vaak onder een noemer:  een Urban. Voor de zomer vaak in katoen en linnen als extra laag voor over een t-shirts of een overhemd. In de winter fraai in een dikker tweed. Zoals deze in een Dutch Tweed.

SAFARI JACKETS

Een jasje met vier opgezette zakken, ongevoerd en met een knopenlijst tot bovenaan zodat het een echte buitenjas wordt. Ook de belt in de rug zorgt voor meer taillering. Naast katoen, fraai in een tweed of zelfs linnen. In linnen een safarijacket. In Shetland wool een safari jacket.

We also make your bomber with stitch or patch pockets. You can of course have that cut tight or as it is meant to be: flared around the waist. We can also make you a herrington with raglan sleeves and straight bottom a zipper. Beautiful in smooth cotton, moleskin or baby rib.
