Of course, we love to make your business wear. In the past, you might have immediately thought of a dark blue suit with a white shirt, black shoes and a nice tie. And that is still very powerful and sexy. We also still make gray suits and suits with a stripe or a Prince Of Wales check quite often. After all, a suit remains the best outfit if you want to make a good first impression in a business environment.

Business apparel has been our core business for 27 years that's why our tailors know exactly what will best fit your specific situation. However, a tailored suit for a lawyer is different from a tailored suit for an architect or a consultant. The Financieel Dagblad has been calling us the stylist of the business world since 2006.

Timeless clothing for home and work

When we make something that really suits you, it is naturally timeless. Moreover we make sure that you can use garments in a variety of ways. The clothes we make are made especially for you and will last longer. We use only natural and high-quality materials that we source as close as possible. 

We work with three workshops. We make the lightest suits in Italy at Carrara. Very refined and very smooth. The other Full Canvas suits give you a little more body and are more English made with our partners at Lambton. Totally unique are the suits and jackets that we make in our own tailor shop in Utrecht. NEW TAILOR is therefore rightfully the tailor shop of the Netherlands. Artisanal, local and therefore sustainable.

Of course, at all studios you can put together your own clothes. And then not only the fabric, lining and buttons but also details such as type of pockets, slits, width of lapels, shoulder processing, band pleats, turn-ups, widths etc.. 

We prefer to work by appointment because you and the picking and putting together of each individual garment deserve attention. Because we reserve time for you, we create unique clothing that truly suits you. Literally and figuratively.

The Dark Blue Suit

A dark blue suit should not be missing from your wardrobe. It is one of those garments that you can put on in any business occasion and make a powerful and well-groomed impression. The dark blue suit is also suitable for formal dinners, for example, or for weddings. We have many high-quality supple fabrics that are a little more shiny and therefore more chic and some matt fabrics that are especially suitable for everyday use. 

The Ultimate Grey Suit

Grey is really a business colour and especially suited for daytime. For Raoul, the ultimate grey suit is a handmade NEW TAILOR Carrara suit of a Dormeuil 15.7 suit in a sharskin. Wonderfully light, smooth and understated. Roel prefers to choose a light grey flannel. The jacket unlined and the pants pleated. Marcel chooses a grey Prince of Wales. We also prefer to have a grey suit classically made with two buttons, two slits and welt pockets.

The Green or Brown Suit

In addition to a blue suit, of course you want to have a suit in another colour in your closet to alternate and appear just a little less formal and chic. A green or brown suit is a very good option. Green is the fashion colour of the moment. Brown is the other colour (besides blue) that looks very good on most men. We have many options of open woven fabrics from Fox, for example, flannels or small checks so it still remains business wear.

Business Shirts

We make the best shirts in the Netherlands by using the best fabrics, the most refined manufacturing and unique patterns. For business shirts, we have a lot of fabric choices. Of course a lot of white and light blue. Stripes are also available in many widths and colors in our assortment. It's up to you whether you want double cuff. We are happy to let you choose from the many collars tailored to the length of your neck and whether you (occasionally) still want to wear a tie. Read more

You want to look groomed every day, and feel comfortable in your clothes. The need for beautiful luxury clothing with more comfort, a sportier look and the need for sustainability, results in the constant development of our smart casual range. In Utrecht, for example, we enjoy making the Urabn. You determine the styling of this casual jacket yourself. We are also happy to make your chinos, overshirts, jeans, pullovers and casual shirts for you. Made-to-measure, of course.

Business Wear

The assurance of a good first impression can be found in our Business Wear line. Of course, in addition to suits, we as tailors also make combinations of jackets and a chino that you can and want to wear in a business environment. Just a little more formal and dressier than Easy Wear.
